Jeff Pratt
Jeff is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in education and insurance. Since 2023, he has served as OSBIE’s Chief Executive Officer and Attorney-in-Fact.
Before OSBIE, Jeff spent over a decade in the K-12 education sector, with the Thames Valley District School Board, the 4th largest school board in Ontario, serving as the CFO. Jeff also worked at Canada Life, a multinational life insurer, in Internal Audit.
Enthusiastic about giving back to his community, he volunteers with youth programming and has served as a Director on numerous not-for-profit Boards, including serving as Chair of the OSBIE Board for two years.
Jeff is a graduate of the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor, with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) and subsequently completed his Chartered Professional Accountant designation and has obtained his Business Supervisory Officer’s certificate. He holds a Chartered Director (C. Dir) designation from the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, focusing on strong board governance.
Jeff enjoys many outdoor activities, including mountain biking and boating, along with building memories with his wife and two sons.

Vivienne Penfound
Vivienne has over 11 years of commercial insurance experience with Gore Mutual Insurance Company, one of Canada’s first property and casualty insurers. Her career has been marked by a series of progressively responsible roles, showcasing her ability to navigate complex financial landscapes with precision and insight. Her expertise spans a diverse range of areas, including reinsurance and investments, which will be invaluable as OSBIE continues to advance its strategic objectives.
A graduate of Western University, Vivienne also holds a Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation and is an active member of the Canadian Insurance Accounting Association (CIAA).
Vivienne enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with her family and dogs.

Jessica Mou
Jessica brings over 20 years of insurance industry practice working for major Canadian insurers such as The Dominion of Canada, Travelers Canada and Gore Mutual. Jessica is a seasoned leader with expertise across commercial property, casualty and auto. Through driving strategic initiatives, creating innovative product solutions, and a focus on customer centricity, she will support the evolving needs of OSBIE Members.
Jessica is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Risk Management program, and also holds a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation.
Jessica enjoys leading an active lifestyle and thrives on spending time with her 4 children.
