Strategic Plan

On behalf of OSBIE, I am pleased to launch Partners in Risk Management – Strategic Plan 2024-2027. This marks a pivotal moment in OSBIE's 37-year history as we move forward with the implementation of this plan, focusing on organizational readiness. Our guiding principle for every initiative is, "Does this benefit our Members?"

Members can anticipate enhancements through a substantial investment in technology and talent aimed at improving the Member experience. This enhancement begins with a communication strategy to deliver timely and relevant information to Members. Upgrades to the website, improved functionality, and enhanced portal accessibility will empower Members to maximize their benefits.

The Strategic Plan is built upon four overarching goals.

Our vision is to be the most trusted, non-profit insurance provider of choice in the education sector. OSBIE exists so that Members have protection against insurable financial losses at a stable and competitive premium. That will not change.

Thanks to you – our Members, the 2023/2024 Board of Directors, and staff, who made a valuable contribution to this strategic plan. It was a collaborative effort that sets us up for smooth implementation with the ongoing support of the 2024/2025 Board of Directors.
